1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of cleaning services by Bash EcoCleaners Service Ltd ("the Company", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16078290), with its registered office at Suite 2, Ellen House, 31–33 London Street, Andover, Hampshire SP10 2NU.
By booking or using our services, you ("the Client") agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before engaging our services.
2. Services
We provide a range of professional cleaning services including but not limited to:
- Commercial and office cleaning
- Public sector and council cleaning
- End of tenancy and void property cleaning
- Deep cleaning and specialist cleaning
- Domestic cleaning
- Grounds maintenance
- Emergency and reactive cleaning
- Mattress and upholstery cleaning
The specific scope of services will be agreed in writing via a service agreement, quotation, or booking confirmation before work commences.
3. Quotations & Pricing
All quotations are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotations are based on the information provided by the Client and a site assessment where applicable.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing if:
- The scope of work differs materially from what was described or assessed
- Additional services are requested beyond the original agreement
- Access to the premises is restricted or delayed
- Hazardous materials or conditions are discovered that were not disclosed
All prices are quoted in GBP and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
4. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is confirmed when the Client receives written confirmation from us (via email or letter). By confirming a booking, the Client agrees to these Terms and any additional conditions set out in the service agreement.
For recurring contracts, the terms of the contract will be set out in a separate service level agreement (SLA), which should be read in conjunction with these Terms.
5. Access & Preparation
The Client is responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the premises at the agreed time. If our team is unable to access the site, or if access is delayed by more than 30 minutes, we reserve the right to:
- Reschedule the service at an additional cost
- Charge a call-out fee for the wasted visit
The Client should remove or secure any valuable, fragile, or sentimental items before our team arrives. While we take every care, we cannot accept responsibility for items not disclosed or secured prior to cleaning.
6. Payment Terms
Payment terms vary depending on the type of service:
- One-off cleans: Payment is due upon completion of the service or within 7 days of the invoice date
- Recurring contracts: Invoices are issued monthly in arrears, payable within 30 days of the invoice date
- Public sector contracts: Payment terms as agreed in the contract or SLA
We accept payment by bank transfer and card. Late payments may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
7. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- 48+ hours' notice: No charge — the appointment can be rescheduled free of charge
- 24–48 hours' notice: A cancellation fee of 50% of the agreed service cost may apply
- Less than 24 hours' notice: The full service cost may be charged
For recurring contracts, cancellation terms will be set out in the service agreement. The standard notice period is 4 weeks unless otherwise agreed.
8. Quality & Satisfaction Guarantee
We are committed to delivering a high standard of service. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the cleaning provided, please notify us within 24 hours. We will return to rectify any issues at no additional cost.
Our satisfaction guarantee does not apply where:
- The dissatisfaction relates to pre-existing damage, staining, or wear
- The Client has not allowed reasonable access for a re-clean
- The scope of work was completed as agreed
9. Liability & Insurance
Bash EcoCleaners Service Ltd holds comprehensive public liability insurance of up to £10,000,000 and employer's liability insurance of up to £10,000,000.
Our liability is limited to direct loss or damage caused by our negligence during the provision of services. We shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of profit, revenue, or anticipated savings
- Damage to items not disclosed prior to cleaning
- Pre-existing damage, wear, or deterioration
- Damage caused by defective fixtures, fittings, or surfaces
Any claim for damage must be reported within 48 hours of the service being completed, with photographic evidence where possible.
10. Health & Safety
We comply with all applicable health and safety legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002. All our cleaning operatives are trained in safe working practices and hold relevant certifications.
The Client is responsible for informing us of any known hazards on the premises, including but not limited to asbestos, biohazards, structural issues, or restricted areas.
11. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. For full details on how we collect, use, and protect your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy and Data Protection Policy.
12. Key Holding & Security
Where key holding is required, we will implement secure key management procedures. Keys are stored in a secure, alarmed location and are only accessible to authorised personnel. We hold key holder insurance and maintain a documented key log.
The Client remains responsible for ensuring their premises are adequately insured and alarmed.
13. Force Majeure
We shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, pandemic, government action, industrial disputes, or transport disruption.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to existing Clients in writing. The latest version will always be available on our website.
